UPDATE
Wow it’s totally been a long time since I last posted something… (not really, like 2 weeks I guess? but it feels like monthes!).
I did make cookies last week, three different kinds actually, but I didn’t take pictures or make any kind of tutorial for you guys. However, I can give you guys a little tip on cookie making =)
So Last week I made chocolate chip cookies, mint chocolate chip cookies, and peanut butter with peanut butter chip cookies.
-
For the mint chocolate chip, I used the same chocolate chip cookie recipe, however instead of vanilla extract, I used 1/2 tsp of mint/peppermint extract. You can add alittle more if you really like mint, but the reason why you use so little is because it’s really strong. too much mint extract and your cookies will taste like toothpaste instead of refreshing. (however, if you like toothpaste, go for a whole tablespoon =) )

Lastly, I finally decided to make Peanut Butter cookies because i’ve been craving them, but I usually shy away from anything peanut because I work with children and I don’t want to be the reason for an allergy attack =( However, I took the necessary precautions and sealed them in a separate ziplock bag from the other cookies I made and made sure nobody ate them around the children!
I was alittle dissapointed in my peanut butter cookies though, I prefer those really soft buttery peanut butter cookies, and these ones turned out abit crispier. Still really good though =)
Now, the weekend coming up is that dreaded Valentine’s day that every single girl always says they could care less about, but really they do care and they basically just HATE that day…
Anyways, I now use this day as an excuse to bake a whole lot more than I usually do, and to share treats with my very lovely friends.
I’m keeping it a surprise until then, but I will give you a little hint as to what my inspiration is =)
