Oh Fudge!

OMG it’s been so long since i’ve posted! mostly because i’ve been busy with school and working, but I have been baking. I just haven’t had enough energy to put all the pictures up lol.


So today was a very rainy/snowy day in Edmonton, therefore I decided to make some fudge and throw in some Oreo cookies. =)

And of course because of the rain I had a bit of extra time to package them.

Aaaaaand here’s what the end result looked like

I made TWO batches of fudge and I think I managed to package about 3 dozen pieces….that’s quite a bit for such a simple recipe.

So packaging it was very easy, all you need is clear wrapping paper, like basket wrap, and you cut  it up into squares. then you can make labels on the computer like I did, or probably even better because I didn’t really take much time to design my label lol.

It got my point across tho, right?

Lemon Squares

So, i’ve only ever made lemon squares once, a really long time ago….and they turned out bizarre…

I didn’t have lemons at the time so I had used limes, and then I didn’t have enough limes so I added a tiny bit of sugar water. In the end, my lemon squares turned out to be lime squares that didn’t taste so much like limes… lol


Basically, major fail!


HOWEVER! This time I succeeded!

To prove that they are in fact lemon squares and not lemon squares that are actually lime squares that don’t taste like lime….
