My name is Jody and I loooove to bake =D
I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Human Ecology with a Major in Clothing & Textiles and a Minor in Interior Design. Basically this means that i’m in the somewhat creative, artsy field. I originally wanted to become an interior design, but I than discovered a passion for baking and have decided to combine the two =)
I am always learning and experimenting and I’ve found that I really enjoy making extravagant, over the top dessert tables. It’s fun creating themed desserts and making props with no guideline as to how crazy you can go. However, dessert tables can get quite pricey with an over active imagination haha so I mostly just bake desserts for my friends, family, and coworkers.
I also do some catering sometimes if I can fit it into my busy schedule, but one day i’d like to turn this hobby into a career, so please enjoy my blog and feel free to leave me comments!

You should also make an attempt at the awesome dessert we had at Mix.
You need a really awesome brownie recipe too, I’d recommend one with chocolate chips inside and mint chocolate melted on top @.@
We must figure out seasonal treats and ones for each holiday!
